In honor of International Women’s Day, we are proud to share the story of Odelia Malka Dabush, Head of the Command-and-Control Center in the Mobile Service Division at Electra FM, demonstrating how emotional intelligence, active listening, and balancing diverse worlds are key to both professional and personal success.

“For me, International Women’s Day is a day to pause and highlight women everywhere, recognizing historical and contemporary changes benefiting women in our society”, Odelia begins. She views this day as an opportunity for reflection and learning, both externally and internally, including personal insights related to raising children.

“It’s important to me to raise my children by normalizing situations and providing growth opportunities, ensuring my daughters know the sky is the limit and that my son accepts this as a given reality for his future partner”, she shares. This educational approach reflects Odelia’s deep commitment to equality and equal opportunities for all.

In the professional sphere, Odelia greatly values her intuition and emotional intelligence. “I think my intuition and emotional intelligence are crucial tools in my daily work, where every client is unique and represents a world unto themselves”, she explains. Her ability to understand unspoken needs and recognize emotions significantly impacts the quality of service she provides to clients.

One of her key strengths, according to Odelia, is her effective multitasking capability. “My ability to simultaneously grasp multiple things, respond effectively, and juggle various tasks and clients, all while maintaining a high service standard and a smile, often resolves conflicts, fosters partnership, and helps conclude complex situations positively for all involved.” This exceptional capability enables her to manage complex challenges at Electra FM and successfully lead high-level projects.

A recent project she led in December 2024 involved her team’s initiative in closing old service calls and cleaning up the computerized system. Odelia managed the project creatively, setting it up as a competition among representatives, culminating in an auction of quality gifts. The team enjoyed a luxurious Italian meal, and gifts based on points earned. This creative approach turned a routine task into an engaging, enjoyable activity, showcasing her talent for motivating teams and achieving outstanding results within a positive atmosphere.

A lesser-known fact about Odelia is her intriguing military background. “Few people know that as an Air Force logistics flight commander, I climbed fuel trucks twice a week to ensure the seals were secured,” she reveals with a smile. This experience taught her the importance of attention to detail and personal oversight—skills she uses effectively today.

When asked about her sources of inspiration, Odelia mentions strong women around her. “I draw inspiration from strong women who successfully manage careers, households, relationships, and families simultaneously”, she explains.

She cites Einat Gaz, a high school classmate and CEO of Papaya Global, as a specific example. “Einat initiated and built her businesses, raised investments, and grew her company—all while managing an advanced pregnancy, raising additional children, and even finding time for surfing. She truly inspires me,” she says admiringly.

Odelia’s dreams for the future reflect the balance she strives to maintain in life. “My dream is to continue joyfully raising my children, providing what they need, and enjoying the journey”, she shares.

Professionally, she aims “to keep advancing at Electra FM, continue feeling and being part of the company’s foundations, and grow alongside it.” This aspiration highlights her profound commitment to the organization and her desire to evolve with it.

Odelia’s story underscores the importance of emotional intelligence, mental flexibility, and the ability to integrate various worlds—family and career, client and organizational needs, detailed focus, and broad vision. Her experience illustrates how these qualities, combined with confidence in personal abilities and a constant pursuit of balance, lead to both personal and professional success.
